Occupational Health Committee (OHC) Level 2 Course is a course for OHC Co-Chairpersons and Occupational Health and Safety Representatives (Reps), although all OHC members would benefit from attending.
By the end of this course, participants will know how to:
• Plan and conduct an OHC workplace inspection
• Identify and assess deficiencies during OHC workplace inspections
• Identify and recommend corrective actions to address deficiencies found during OHC workplace inspections
• Fulfill their regulatory requirement to investigate workplace accidents and dangerous occurrences
• Collect and analyze evidence during an investigation
• Identify and assess, direct, indirect and root causes of workplace accidents and dangerous occurrences
• How to identify and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence of workplace accidents and dangerous occurrences
MSA’s OHC level 2 course training manual will be emailed to all registrants in advance of the course. If possible, you may want to print the course manual so you can follow along and participate in course activities. Alternatively, MSA can mail you a copy of the course training manual. Email: info@motorsafety.ca to request this if interested. Be sure to allow adequate delivery time. Having a second device would also be helpful. This would allow you to follow along with the live webinar on your primary device and on a second device you could have training materials (MSA course materials). This would make following the webinar and participating in class work simpler.
