Welcome to the Powered Mobile Equipment (PME) safety online training course. This course is meant to provide information on the regulations and requirements of training needed to deem employees competent on how to operate a piece of PME safely.
To be deemed a competent operator, the Saskatchewan Occupational Health and Safety Regulations state that a worker must complete 16 hours of classroom and practical training combined. These regulations have been in place since 2007 and form the minimum training requirements to be deemed a competent operator of PME in Saskatchewan.
