Welcome to the Combine Operator Safety training course offered by the Motor Safety Association (MSA). The information in this course will review common hazards associated with the use of combines. It will provide guidance on minimizing risks to the operator and others during work with combines and is intended to help employers and their employees comply with their duties under health and safety legislation in Saskatchewan.
It is the employer’s responsibility to deem their operators competent by meeting the legislated requirements for the training/operation of power mobile equipment. This course will be approximately 2 hours long and go towards the necessary 16 hours of training that is required to be deemed a competent operator. The goal of this online course is to help educate employees regarding the safe use of a combine.
This online workshop can be accessed at any time and at any element providing you with guidance and printable materials. You can progress at the speed that best suits your needs. Support is only a phone call away (8:00 am to 4:30 pm CST) if difficulties arise.
